Moringa has multiple benefits and names, comes from the tree known in Latin as moringa oleifera, obtained from its Hindu Tamil name murunṅkai முருங்க, its origin is India with Nepal and Pakistan. Today it is cultivated in Africa, Southeast Asia, South America, Central America and the Caribbean. In Burkina Faso we call the tree Arzam tigha to mean the tree of paradise, in Senegal the Nébèdaï which comes from never die, in France it was changed to Neverdier but still the tree of life, Ben ailée in Guadeloupe, Palo de abejas for stick of bees in Puerto Rico because of its oil which is produced from its seeds or Angela in Colombia.
